The children play in pairs, clapping hands with their partner in gradually, longer and more articulate patterns.

The claps should always be alternated with a single beat of the child's own hands.

When the sequence is memorised, it is possible to introduce variations in the clapping to increase difficulty.

This game can be performed in a circle, clapping with the nearest playmate or in pairs varying the clapping speed.
