Capture the mystery object

Divide the children into teams on two lines facing each other. In the middle of the playing area is the object of the contest, e.g. a ball

Each player is a number, equal to the opponent in front. When a number is called, the two children run to take the object and bring it to their place without being touched. 

A player may only be touched by his opponent when he has the ball in his hand

The player may then throw it and catch it on the fly so as not to get caught with the ball in their hand.
